Cardiff Fire have signed Swedish defenceman Viktor Langseth for 2018/19. The hard hitting tough defenceman grew up playing hockey Gnesta IK representing them in Division 2 under 18’s and Division 1 under 20’s.
Viktor signed for the Fire’s division one team last season playing in 10 games. At only 22 Viktor is big strong defender that likes the physical side of the game.
“Mark Cuddihy continued “Viktor is a fantastic asset. He stepped up and played 10 games for us in division one and was really impressive. I was really pleased with his physical play and the way he handled himself on and off the ice. He’s a young player looking to develop his game all the time. He hits incredible hard and knows how to take care of his end. He’s young but already a leader on and off the ice, just by example and the way he conducts himself around the rink. He’s worked very hard this summer and joins us in great shape. I am looking forward to watching him step out for the first game this weekend”
