Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce the renewal of their partnership with Bearhug for the 2017/18 season.
Bearhug is a a company based in South Wales and run by brothers Dan & Gareth Hobbs. They produce athletic supports with the use of bamboo charcoal that provide fantastic support to everyone from professional athletes to people who enjoy taking long walks.
Some of their most popular products are the Bearhug ankle, knee and wrist supports that are worn by fire players Sam Smith and Jordan Powell. Bearhug provided us unbelievable support over the 2016/17 season providing us with brilliant advertisement via their social media platforms as well as providing our players with the supports needed to keep them performing at the highest level.
Fire Community and operations manager Dan Blakemore said ‘We are delighted to have Bearhug back on board for the 2017/18 season. I’ve known both Dan & Gareth for several years via rugby and they are extremely hard working and dedicated to providing the best products they can. They were fantastic last season in providing us with advertising and also catering to our players needs. With the rigours of us now competing in the second tier of professional ice hockey their help and support will be invaluable to our players. We hope the partnership continues for many years to come.’
Gareth Hobbs one of Bearhugs founders said ‘We are proud to once again be partnering with Cardiff Fire. Their focus on developing young players and working with the community is a perfect fit with our values. We wish the team the best for the challenges this season will bring and look forward to supporting the journey where we can.’
